Françoise Grossetête, MEP (EPP – France) is elected Rapporteur for Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety of the European Parliament on the European Commission’s Directive proposal on ‘patients’ rights in cross-border healthcare’. As you know the directive proposal in question is now in the hands of the Council. Mrs. Grossetête will have the responsibility to take the relay from Mr. John Bowis and to draft a report for the second reading of the text in question once the Council delivers its own version of the text.
