FEPI President Prof. Loredana Sasso meeting with NCSBN President Laura Rhodes in Chicago, USA

FEPI President Prof. Loredana Sasso had a meeting this week with NCSBN President Laura Rhodes in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

On the invitation of the President of the American National Council of State Boards of Nursing, the Nursing Regulatory Body in the United States of America, FEPI President Prof. Sasso came to Chicago in the beginning of this week in order to discuss the links between the two organisations.

The meeting between the two Presidents was extremely interesting and fruitful. Prof. Sasso and Mrs. Rhodes reported on both experiences and shared good practices in nursing regulation. The already efficient collaboration between the two organisation has been strengthened and the bridge between the two oceans on the road to better healthcare and patient safety will certainly come out reinforce of this meeting.

The next meeting between the two organisations will take place in Thessaloniki, during the FEPI International Conference, where a member of the Executive Board of the NCSBN has been confirmed as guest speaker.
