EU-Council Presidency plans no discussions of European Commission’s proposal on information to patients on medicines

It seems that the current Spanish Presidency of the EU Council has no interest in promoting the European Commission’s proposal aiming at providing the public with more information about prescription medicines. The Presidency has not provided in fact for any discussions of the European Commission’s proposal on ‘pharma-package’ – now more than a year old – during its term of office (January 2010 – June 2010).
