EPF’s objective is to ensure that the voice of European patients is not only heard but respected and acted upon at European level. Current EPF activities focus on patient safety, patient information, education about diseases, disease prevention and treatment, patient mobility, sustainability of the European healthcare systems, biosimilar medicinal products and research on innovative treatments. At the same time, the EPF is on the alert to identify all new EU legislation that could affect patients across Europe. EPF also provides support to patient groups from the new EU Member States through education, empowerment and training.

This project aims to carry out an inventory across the full European Economic Area plus Switzerland of Health care profession regulators: Registers, licensing bodies and / or bodies with supervisory tasks concerning health care professionals, especially those of which the qualifications have been harmonized.

The EU high-level pharmaceutical forum still has a long way to go before tabling a consensus on the structural changes needed to improve competitiveness of the European pharmaceutical industry.

The EU Health Forum serves as an information and consultation mechanism to ensure that the aims of the Community's health strategy are made clear to the public and respond to their concerns. It provides an opportunity to representative organisations of patients, health professionals and other stakeholders, such as health service providers, to make contributions to health policy development, its implementation and the setting of priorities for action.

EuroHealthNet is an organisation that aims to contribute to a healthier Europe with greater equity in health between and within European countries. This is achieved by networking and cooperation among relevant and publicly accountable national, regional and local agencies in EU member states, in states seeking EU membership and in the European Economic Area.

The European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) represents over 90 non-governmental and other not-for-profit organisations working in support of health in Europe. EPHA aims to promote and protect the health interests of all people living in Europe and to strengthen the dialogue between the EU institutions, citizens and NGOs in support of healthy public policies.
